Born 1951 as a Capricorn in Key West, a 3rd generation Key West “Conch” of Cuban decent. Most of my family arrived in Key West during the late 1800’s.

My wife, Chris, and I have been together 17 years and married 4 years. we live in Nokomis, Florida and in Sarasota County for 20 years.

My diversity has prepared me to be your U.S. Representative. I have experiences in many areas that provide empathy, compassion, and in understanding the true needs of many as I have walked in many of their shoes unlike most politicians. I truly am a caring person “of the people” and I am “for the people”.
